Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Planning:
Develop and execute the long-term strategy and roadmap for global HR shared services, ensuring it is closely aligned with the group's overall HR and business strategy. Lead the daily operations of HRSSC globally and establish a performance culture driven by service levels and business results. Report regularly to group leaders and provide key performance indicators, operational insights, and strategic recommendations.

Global Operations Management and Service Delivery:
Be fully responsible for the end-to-end delivery of all HRSSC core service processes, including but not limited to:

Global Recruitment Operations:
Manage administrative aspects of the recruitment process, background checks, onboarding documents, etc.

Global Payroll and Benefits Management:
Ensure accurate and timely payment of global salaries (especially under complex project shifts); manage the administrative work of benefit plans.

Employee Data and Information System Management:
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of global HRIS data.

Global Mobility and Assignment Support:
Provide administrative support such as visas, relocation, and compliance for internationally assigned employees (especially those assigned to projects in difficult areas).

Employee Lifecycle Management:
Handle all personnel changes such as contracts, transfers, promotions, and resignations.

Employee Inquiry Center Management:
Establish and manage a multi-channel (telephone, email, portal) employee service center to ensure timely responses. Pay special attention to operational challenges unique to the oilfield services industry, such as the rapid onboarding of project-based personnel, salary calculations for rotational personnel, and policy compliance for dispatches to difficult areas.

Process Excellence and Technology Innovation:
Continuously review, simplify, and automate HR processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings. Lead the optimization and integration projects of the HR technology stack (including core HR systems, service portals, RPA robots, etc.) to improve user experience and operational efficiency. Promote the application of data analytics in HR operations and provide business leaders with human capital insights through dashboards and reports.

Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure that global HRSSC operations strictly comply with all applicable local labor laws, data privacy regulations (such as GDPR), and industry-specific regulations (such as health, safety, and environmental standards). Lead the connection with internal and external audits to ensure the compliance of all processes and records. Given the high-risk nature of the oilfield services industry, ensure the rigor of processes such as personnel qualification review and training record management.

Team Leadership and Capacity Building:
Lead, motivate, and develop a high-quality, cross-cultural, and multi-regional HRSSC team. Cultivate the team's business partner capabilities, customer service awareness, and problem-solving skills. Manage team performance, set clear goals, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

Customer Relationship and Stakeholder Management:
As the primary interface for HRSSC services, establish and maintain strong partnerships with the Group HRBP, business line leaders, regional HR teams, and external suppliers. Regularly collect feedback from internal customers, measure service satisfaction, and drive continuous improvement in service quality. Manage service level agreements and ensure that service delivery meets or exceeds established standards.
Qualifications

Educational background:
Master's degree or above in human resources, business administration, or related fields.

Work experience:
At least 12 years of human resources work experience, including more than 8 years in regional or global HRSSC leadership positions in large multinational companies.

Industry experience:
Must have work experience in complex project-driven industries such as oil and gas services, energy, or heavy industry, and a deep understanding of their business models and human resource challenges.

Professional skills:
Proficient in the construction, operation, and optimization methodology of human resources shared service centers. Possess deep expertise in core HR processes (compensation, recruitment operations, data management).

Leadership qualities:
Excellent cross-cultural communication, influence, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to drive change and achieve results in a matrix organization. Customer-centric, results-oriented, with strategic thinking and strong execution capabilities.

Language requirements:
Fluent English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is preferred.

Others:
Ability to work in different time zones around the world and willingness to travel internationally as necessary.
