Job Summary

The Director, Global Retail will lead the development and execution of the global retail vision for Kerzners portfolio across our brands;, Atlantis, One&Only, SIRO and Rarefinds. Overseeing hotel retail programs, brand collaborations, and product partnerships that enhance guest experience and extend the brand beyond the stay. This role will drive retail innovation across hotel properties worldwide, advising retail operations, merchandising strategy, and high-impact brand partnerships that reflect the company s luxury and lifestyle positioning.

Key Responsibilities

Global Retail Strategy & Vision

  • Define and implement a comprehensive retail strategy that aligns with the brand s hospitality and lifestyle vision.
  • Establish and scale retail experiences across properties, including boutique stores, lobby retail, pop-ups, and digital-to-physical integrations.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for retail growth and brand extensions that deepen guest engagement and loyalty.

Brand Partnerships & Collaborations

  • Lead the identification, negotiation, and management of strategic brand partnerships with premium, luxury, and lifestyle brands.
  • Develop exclusive collaborations and limited-edition product lines that embody the hotel group s brand DNA.
  • Partner with Marketing and Brand teams to integrate co-branded products and experiences into hotel retail and guest programming.
  • Ensure brand partnerships deliver measurable value driving both revenue and brand equity.

Retail Operations & Merchandising

  • Oversee retail operations standards across global properties, ensuring consistency and operational excellence.
  • Partner with regional and property teams to optimize product assortment, pricing, visual merchandising, and guest engagement.
  • Establish performance metrics (sales, margins, guest feedback, inventory turns) to assess success and inform decisions.
  • Introduce innovative retail concepts such as immersive pop-ups, digital retail solutions, and curated local collaborations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Brand, Marketing, Design, Procurement, and Operations to ensure retail initiatives are aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Collaborate with Development and Design teams to integrate retail spaces into new hotel concepts and renovations.
  • Partner with Finance and Legal to structure partnership agreements, manage P&L performance, and ensure compliance.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in retail strategy, brand partnerships, or merchandising, ideally within hospitality, luxury, or lifestyle sectors.
  • Proven success developing and managing brand collaborations and retail programs at a global scale.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in P&L ownership, forecasting, and vendor negotiations.
  • Exceptional relationship management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Deep understanding of luxury consumer behaviour and guest experience design.
