The Director of Global Sourcing will be responsible for supplier evaluation and qualification and supplier relationship management. The Director of Global Sourcing is responsible for cross-functional collaboration with vendor and category teams in procurement as well as the primary contact for compliance groups such as Trade, Product, and Quality.

Lead and develop the strategic sourcing team and foster a culture of continuous learning, cross functional collaboration, and operational excellence.
- 
Establish the strategic sourcing function on a global scale to achieve cost optimization, quality, risk mitigation, supply chain continuity, and build comprehensive sourcing strategies for all product lines aligned with overall business objectives.
- 
Create a global sourcing framework, implementing sourcing policies and business continuity strategies to establish and sustain a high-performing, world-class supplier network.
- 
Develop cross-functional relationships with merchandising, procurement, transportation, and compliance.
- 
Build and maintain relationships with key global suppliers to drive continuous performance improvement, and value creation.
- 
Lead negotiations to achieve optimal total cost, quality, delivery performance, and contract terms.
- 
Monitor and elevate supplier performance through issue resolution, tracking KPI’s and developing a matrix performance assessment process.
- 
Analyze market trends and new supplier opportunities whose products align with the specific needs and requirements of Clark’s.
- 
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build a supplier matrix through a new system to capture vendor performance, pricing, mitigate risk, and drive sustainable sourcing practices.
- 
Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.

Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.

Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.

Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.

Access to a home router and modem.

A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).

The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.

Minimum 10 years in global sourcing, 5+ years in people leadership and/or mentorship
- 
Proven success in strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationships.

Strong international negotiation skills.
- 
Excellent communication abilities with cross functional teams and senior leaders.
