The Driver Provider is a fast‑growing transportation company headquartered in downtown Phoenix, serving the Southwest region. We’re searching for a dynamic Director of Human Resources who can elevate our people strategy, energize our culture, and design innovative recruiting pipelines—especially for professional drivers across the Southwest market.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a driver‑recruitment strategy using fresh, unconventional sourcing methods grounded in strategic thinking and workforce planning
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small team of HR professionals
  • Partner with operations and leadership to forecast staffing needs and build strong talent pipelines
  • Strengthen compliance, employee relations, onboarding, and retention programs with scalable processes and policies
  • Champion a people‑first culture that reflects our commitment to safety, service, and excellence

The Must‑Haves

  • 5–7 years of HR leadership experience, including managing and developing a team
  • Proven success in recruiting, ideally in transportation, logistics, hospitality, or other high‑volume environments. A creative, resourceful mindset—someone who doesn’t wait for candidates to come to them
  • Multi‑state HR compliance knowledge across varied labor law environments
  • Experience in employee relations and culture building, with the ability to navigate conflict, coach managers, and shape organizational culture
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
  • A passion for building teams, crafting culture, and elevating the employee experience

Core Educational Credentials

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Master’s degree (preferred but not mandatory); advanced HR certifications are a plus

Compensation & Benefits:

$95,000.00 – $115,000.00 - DOE

  • Competitive salary aligned with experience and qualifications.
