About the Role
The Director of Integration and Value Creation is responsible for overseeing the successful integration of business acquisitions, partnerships, and internal initiatives in order to deliver value accretion to the Silal Group. This includes the identification, development, and execution of value-creating opportunities that align with Silal’s long-term strategic objectives. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that value is delivered through operational efficiencies, synergies, and strategic initiatives. Additionally, the role will include supporting the wider Strategy & Growth team across the value chain of activities in the department.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end integration process for mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships, ensuring alignment with Silal’s goals and seamless transition across business units.
- Develop and implement value creation strategies focused on enhancing operational performance, maximizing profitability, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Work with business leaders to identify and execute synergies, cost-saving measures, and revenue-enhancing opportunities across integrated entities or projects.
- Develop effective tracking tools and reports to monitor value creation across all initiatives and report to management on a regular basis.
- Develop business cases and feasibilities (financial and market analysis, value creation & synergies) for investment initiatives, JV’s, partnerships and any other project that requires approval from the Investment Committee.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, partners, and vendors, to ensure successful integration and value capture.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of integration efforts and value creation initiatives, reporting regularly to senior leadership.
- Support both the Strategy and M&A team across a wide range of initiatives from strategy development and execution, full-cycle M&A transactions, with a specific focus to define and drive value creation.
- Partner with departments such as operations, finance, legal, HR, and digital to ensure the smooth execution of integration plans and delivery of value.
- Identify potential risks associated with integrations or value creation projects and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity and success.
- Lead change management initiatives related to integrations, ensuring a smooth cultural and operational transition for all teams involved.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of innovation by identifying new tools, processes, and technologies that can enhance the business’s overall value proposition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Masters’ degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 11 years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in managing Integration and Value Creation activities and initiatives.
