Job Summary

The Director - IMC, will oversee the development and execution of comprehensive integrated marketing strategies, ensuring alignment across channels, teams, and stakeholders. The role holder will lead the IMC team, drive collaboration with clients and brand principals, and champion campaigns that deliver measurable business outcomes. This role is pivotal in shaping GMG’s position as a leader in integrated marketing communications.


Accountabilities

Core Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute IMC strategies that align with client objectives and principal guidelines.
  • Lead the conceptualization of high-impact campaigns that integrate digital, traditional, and experiential channels.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define marketing goals, budgets, and KPIs.
  • Ensure all campaigns align with GMG’s vision and deliver business value for clients.


Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IMC team.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance metrics for team members.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the IMC department.


Client & Principal Relations:

  • Serve as a senior point of contact for key clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brand principals, acting as a trusted partner and advisor.
  • Drive alignment between local and global strategies, ensuring brand integrity and consistency.
  • Present strategies, campaign results, and insights to C-suite stakeholders.


Campaign Development & Execution:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated campaigns.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between creative, media, and execution teams.
  • Anticipate and address challenges, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and within budget.


Performance Analysis:

  • Define and track KPIs for all IMC campaigns, using data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare detailed post-campaign reports, providing actionable insights for future initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive activities to keep GMG ahead of the curve.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or Business Administration (master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing communications, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-channel campaigns and large teams.
  • Experience working with global brands and managing principal relationships.
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English is essential. Any additional language is an asset (Arabic, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Hindi)
  • Certification such as Professional Certified Marketer (PCM)/ Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP)/ Integrated Marketing Communications Certification, are a nice-to-have.
