Job Summary:

The Director of Analytics is a visionary and strategic leader who helps to shape the organization's data-driven culture and empowers business transformation through advanced analytics. This role is responsible for aiding in identifying and executing innovative analytics strategies that unlock actionable insights, fuel organizational growth, and drive operational excellence.

The Director will build and inspire a high-performing analytics team, champion the adoption of cutting-edge analytical tools and methodologies, and partner with senior leadership to translate complex data into clear, impactful business decisions.

By fostering cross-functional collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement, the Director of Analytics ensures that data is leveraged as a strategic asset to deliver measurable value, accelerate innovation, and maintain ARMSRx's competitive edge.

Essential Functions:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the analytics vision and roadmap aligned with organizational goals. Partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities to improve business processes and outcomes.
  • Team Management: Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of analysts. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, improvement, and innovation.
  • Data & Analytics Execution: Oversee the analytics team in performing request for proposals (RFPs), prospective savings analysis, as well as renewals and reconciliations for the existing client base.
  • Cross-Functional Project Collaboration: Work closely with IT, Finance, Marketing, and Operations to improve business processes. Support strategic initiatives through advanced analytics and scenario modeling.
  • Technology & Tools: Aid in evaluating and implementing analytics platforms and tools to enhance capabilities and drive efficiencies.
  • Presentation & Reporting: Present findings and recommendations to executive and client audiences with professionalism and clarity. Prepare and maintain regular analytics reports.
  • Workflow Management: Drive process improvements and best practices within the analytics function.
  • Industry Knowledge: Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, business challenges, and competitive market developments related to analytics.

Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing analytics teams.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills; confident presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, and data visualization preferred.
  • Strong understanding of working with pharmacy claims data ensuring accuracy, integrity and best practices.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and working with executive leadership.
  • Quick to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
  • Remote position with light travel.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Finance, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 6+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in the pharmacy benefit industry-specific analytics is required.
