We’re looking for a Director of Architecture & Design Consulting to lead our studio—someone who thrives at the intersection of design, feasibility, and data-driven strategy.

This role combines the creativity of architectural practice with the precision of investment analytics. You’ll guide our clients through concept evaluations, site optimization, and early-stage design feasibility to unlock the highest and best use of land.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a multidisciplinary design consulting team delivering architectural, urban design, and feasibility studies.
• Collaborate with developers, planners, and investment analysts to assess zoning, density, and design efficiency.
• Direct the creation of AI-assisted massing models, building envelope studies, and ROI-driven design scenarios.
• Review and elevate client deliverables—ensuring clarity, design integrity, and analytical accuracy.
• Develop and refine UnlockLand’s design evaluation standards and spatial intelligence workflows.
• Partner with product and data teams to translate real-world design insights into new platform features.
• Represent UnlockLand in client presentations, industry panels, and cross-disciplinary working groups.
• Mentor emerging designers, architects, and consultants on analytical storytelling and evidence-based design.

What We’re Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in architecture, urban design, or development consulting.
• Deep understanding of feasibility, cost modeling, and zoning-driven design decisions.
• Proven ability to lead teams through complex projects and synthesize creative + analytical workstreams.
• Strong visual communication skills—using both design and data to tell a persuasive story.
• Proficiency with Rhino, Revit, or ArchiCAD; experience with GIS or parametric modeling a plus.
• Licensed Architect or LEED-accredited professional preferred.
• Collaborative, intellectually curious, and entrepreneurial mindset.
