Job Purpose:

As the Director of Banqueting, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our banqueting and events operations. You will lead a passionate team to ensure every event is flawlessly executed, delivering elevated guest experiences that reflect our brand’s prestige. This role requires strong leadership, operational acumen, and a passion for hospitality at the highest level.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of all banqueting functions, ensuring luxury standards are met or exceeded.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Culinary, and F&B teams to tailor each event to client expectations.
• Manage the banqueting team, including recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.
• Drive operational efficiency and cost control while maintaining impeccable service quality.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Build strong relationships with VIP clients, event planners, and corporate partners.
• Innovate and elevate banquet offerings in line with market trends and guest feedback.

Qualifications & Competencies:

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in luxury hotel banqueting or high-end event operations.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale events with impeccable attention to detail.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and forecasts.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and service excellence.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
