We're looking for a Director of Content Strategy to define how Genexa shows up across campaigns, channels, and culture. This leader will oversee social, owned and emerging channels, earned communications strategy, and messaging strategy for paid content-shaping a unified narrative that strengthens brand love, awareness, and credibility.
What You'll Do
CampaignCreative Strategy
Lead strategy for all brand and seasonal campaigns-from insight to brief to cross-channel execution.
Turn parent truths, cultural insights, and category signals into powerful creative platforms that scale.
Partner closely with Creative to ensure all ideas ladder to the brand promise and translate across formats.
Content, SocialOwned Channel Leadership
Own Genexa's holistic content strategy across social, email, website, and emerging platforms.
Manage and mentor the SocialContent team; set the brand's POV and presence across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and new channels.
Develop content calendars, frameworks, and narratives that keep Genexa culturally relevant and consistently present.
Build storytelling that ranges from educational to emotional to UGC-forward.
CommunicationsEarned Media Strategy
Oversee comms strategy and partner with PR on earned storytelling, media narratives, and cultural moments.
Translate campaign insights into PR-worthy hooks and moments that spark conversation.
Ensure consistency across brand, social, PR, creator, and campaign messaging.
Paid Content Messaging
Partner with Growth to define messaging strategy for paid social, programmatic, search, and emerging paid formats.
Build modular messaging frameworks that balance performance goals with brand integrity.
Ensure paid content ladders directly to campaign strategy and parent insights.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate deeply with Creative, Growth, PR, Product, and Retail teams to bring cohesive, culturally resonant campaigns to life.
Use insights and analytics to identify opportunities and sharpen creative direction.
Lead integrated brief development and drive clarity from kickoff to launch.
Operational Excellence
Establish testing plans, optimization loops, and best practices to elevate content quality and campaign effectiveness.
Manage agency and external partners with speed, consistency, and alignment.
Drive a high bar for creative excellence, while maintaining focus and efficiency.
Who You Are
8–12+ years in content strategy, campaign strategy, social leadership, or brand/communications strategy in a fast-moving consumer brand or agency.
A strong storyteller with a POV on culture, parent behavior, and how brands earn attention.
Deep experience across social, owned content ecosystems, and editorial planning.
Familiar with paid messaging frameworks and how content drives both brand and performance.
Experience partnering with or overseeing earned media/PR strategy and shaping media narratives.
A collaborative team leader who brings clarity, empathy, and momentum.
Thrives in a challenger-brand environment: fast, resourceful, and highly creative.
