Why Join SEED MD
At The SEED School of Maryland, we are preparing students not just for college—but for the future of work.
As a public, college-preparatory boarding school, our model combines academic rigor with life skills development in a structured, mission-driven environment. Our students live on campus during the week, creating a unique opportunity to influence both their academic and personal growth.
The Cyber Lab is a critical part of that vision.
This role is an opportunity to build, lead, and expand a STEM and cybersecurity program that directly prepares students for real-world opportunities.
About the Role
The Director of Cyber Lab is a leadership role responsible for designing, implementing, and growing SEED MD’s STEM and cybersecurity programming.
This position goes beyond instruction. You will shape curriculum, build partnerships, secure resources, and create pathways that prepare students for college and careers in STEM fields.
You will work closely with the Head of School and Director of Academics to ensure the Cyber Lab is aligned with the school’s broader academic strategy.
What Makes This Role Different
- You are building and leading a high-impact STEM and cybersecurity program
- You will connect students to real-world opportunities, internships, and industry exposure
- You will have ownership over program strategy, partnerships, and growth
- You will work in a school model that prioritizes both academic and life outcomes
This role is not ideal for individuals seeking a strictly classroom-based or highly structured, pre-defined teaching role.
