Position Summary: Lead marketplace growth across Amazon, iHerb, DTC (Shopify), and key online retail partners, owning digital merchandising, promotions, inventory strategy, and cross-functional execution that drive profitable revenue and strengthen brand presence. The E-Commerce Director blends strategic leadership with hands-on execution, leveraging data-driven insights and marketplace expertise to deliver sustained growth. The ideal candidate brings deep Amazon and iHerb experience, strong analytical and project management skills, and a proven ability to grow natural health, supplements, or consumer wellness brands in the digital space. This role offers the flexibility to work remotely or on-site.

Project & Channel Leadership: Report to the Vice President of Sales and lead initiatives that drive sales and profitability across digital channels. Oversee end-to-end project execution—including planning, timelines, advertising, promotions, and creative deliverables—while partnering cross-functionally with marketing, product development, operations, finance, and external agencies. Deep experience managing Amazon, iHerb, and agency relationships is required.

Product & Campaign Management: Direct the development and execution of digital products and promotional campaigns across marketplaces and retail platforms. Challenge agency partners to optimize product content, PDPs, and user journeys, leveraging insights to increase conversion, traffic, and sales performance.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to execute launches, promotions, and advertising programs that enhance the customer experience and align with brand objectives.

Merchandising & Conversion Optimization: Oversee daily merchandising operations to ensure listings are fully optimized for discoverability, engagement, and conversion. Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to produce high-performing digital assets that elevate storytelling and sales impact.

Analytics & Performance Optimization: Track and analyze KPIs across traffic, conversion, SEO, share of digital shelf, media efficiency, and inventory health. Translate insights into actionable strategies that drive continuous performance improvement.

Customer & Market Intelligence: Monitor reviews, ratings, trends, and competitive dynamics to identify opportunities for product and message enhancement, differentiation, and marketplace growth.

Inventory & Stock Strategy: Evaluate inventory levels, demand trends, and product velocity to guide forecasting, replenishment, and assortment planning. Recommend proactive actions to improve efficiency, minimize out-of-stocks, and ensure channel stability.

Operational Excellence & Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve marketplace issues related to listings, pricing, catalog accuracy, or compliance. Uphold best practices across Amazon and all digital platforms to protect brand integrity and optimize performance.
Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, E-Commerce, ora related field.

Minimum 5 years of Amazon marketplace experience.

Proficient in using Amazon tools and analytics platforms for product listings, advertising optimization, and performance tracking.

Expert-level understanding of iHerb fundamentals and go-to-market strategy.

Proven success innatural products and / or dietary supplements strongly preferred.

Experience managingadditionalretailer.com marketplaces—including Emerson/Natural Partners, Fullscript, Vitacost, Swanson, Walmart, and Target—is highly desirable.
