DIRECTOR OF EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT

NFI North is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Employee Development to lead our HR department and align HR strategies with our business goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HR best practices, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the agency’s mission.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent management processes.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.
  • Manage employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Design and implement policies which pertain to workforce management
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support organizational change and development.
  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive decision-making.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies.
  • Experience with HRIS and data analysis.
