Director of Enterprise Applications

About the Role

We are seeking a Director of Enterprise Applications to lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing optimization of the organization’s enterprise application portfolio. This role is responsible for ensuring that core business systems effectively support operational efficiency, scalability, and business growth.

The Director will partner closely with business leaders, technology teams, and external vendors to align enterprise applications with organizational priorities and long-term technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise applications strategy and roadmap
• Own the lifecycle management of core business systems (ERP, CRM, HCM, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.)
• Lead application modernization, cloud migration, and system integration initiatives
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Oversee application governance, standards, and architectural alignment
• Manage vendors, system integrators, and software licensing
• Ensure application security, compliance, and data integrity in collaboration with security teams
• Establish KPIs, SLAs, and operational processes for application support and delivery
• Lead, mentor, and develop enterprise application teams
• Support M&A activities, including application assessments and integrations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise applications or business systems
• Proven leadership experience managing teams and large application portfolios
• Deep experience with ERP and enterprise platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Strong understanding of application architecture, integrations, and cloud platforms
• Experience partnering with senior business leaders to deliver technology solutions
• Excellent communication, planning, and vendor management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in complex or regulated environments
• Background in application modernization or digital transformation initiatives
• Experience supporting global or multi-entity organizations
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, vendor platform certifications)

Pay: AED495,000.00 per year
