Job Description
We are hiring for a Director of Entertainment who will be responsible for leading the creative vision, development, and seamless execution of all entertainment programming across the property. This role curates immersive experiences that bring the Faena philosophy to life—merging art, culture, performance, and emotion to inspire guests and elevate the resort’s identity. The Director will balance artistic innovation with operational excellence and commercial performance, ensuring that every show, activation, and event enhances guest satisfaction, engagement, and brand distinction.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement a comprehensive entertainment strategy that aligns with Faena’s brand narrative, guest demographics, and market positioning.

Conceptualize and curate signature events, live performances, and cultural activations that define the Faena experience.

Stay ahead of global entertainment and lifestyle trends to continuously evolve and innovate the resort’s programming.
Programming & Operations

Oversee all entertainment venues and activations across the property, including indoor/outdoor stages, lounges, nightlife, pool, and beach experiences.

Lead show scheduling, rehearsals, and production logistics (sound, lighting, AV, and staging).

Ensure flawless execution and smooth transitions between entertainment touchpoints throughout the guest journey.

Partner with F&B, Rooms, Spa, and Marketing teams to weave entertainment into the property’s overall experience.
Talent & Partnerships

Identify, audition, and contract top-tier entertainers, musicians, DJs, artists, and specialty performers.

Build and nurture partnerships with talent agencies, event producers, and cultural institutions.

Lead and mentor entertainment teams, setting performance standards and fostering creativity.
Financial Management

Develop, manage, and oversee entertainment budgets, both CAPEX and OPEX.

Negotiate contracts that deliver excellence and value.

Track and analyze financial performance, ensuring positive ROI and strategic growth in entertainment-driven revenue.
Guest Experience & Quality

Design entertainment experiences that heighten emotional connection, guest satisfaction, and brand loyalty.

Adapt programming to audience profiles, cultural context, and seasonal trends.

Uphold Forbes service standards across all entertainment experiences.
Compliance & Safety

Ensure full compliance with local laws, performance licenses, and safety protocols.

Implement best practices for risk management, performer safety, and crowd control.
Qualifications-
Minimum 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience in entertainment, events, or lifestyle operations (resorts, cruise ships, luxury hotels, or large-scale venues).

Proven track record of curating high-impact entertainment programs with measurable guest engagement and revenue growth.

Forbes 5 Star hotel experience highly advantageous.

Strong network of global entertainment professionals, talent agencies, and production houses.

Demonstrated financial acumen (budgeting, forecasting, ROI analysis).

Excellent leadership, negotiation, and cross-cultural communication skills.

Degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Performing Arts, or related field preferred.
