What We Are Looking For:


A creative and highly organized professional to manage both the visual identity and the logistical execution of DTVC's engagement campaigns . In this unique role, you will be responsible for designing compelling visual content across all media, including promotional posts , while simultaneously planning, coordinating, and executing all campaign-related events . You need to be a strategic communicator and meticulous planner who can ensure DTVC's brand is visually appealing and that its events run seamlessly to engage our diverse set of partners across the government, commercial, and academic sectors.


About the Role:

The Graphic Design and Event Coordinator is intended to:

  • Develop and maintain a consistent, high-quality visual brand identity for DTVC and its campaigns .
  • Design all marketing and promotional posts (digital and print) that effectively communicate DTVC's value and vision.
  • Plan, organize, and execute a diverse portfolio of engaging campaign events , including networking sessions, launch events, and workshops that drive engagement.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners (KFUPM, Science Park tenants, corporations) to align design and event activities with strategic goals.
  • Ensure all visual and event-related operations are executed with a results-driven and professional standard.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Graphic Design and Communications:

  • Design and produce high-quality digital and print assets, including promotional posts, presentations, brochures, social media graphics, email templates, event signage, and internal communications.
  • Proactively design creative posts to promote DTVC campaigns, events, and partnership successes across relevant channels.
  • Manage DTVC’s image library and ensure all materials adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Education & Training Engagements Manager to create visual roadmaps for key campaign and partnership initiatives.

Campaign Event Coordination and Management:

  • Organize and facilitate all campaign-related events , including launch parties, networking events, workshops, and seminars.
  • Manage the end-to-end execution of the weekly Innovation Café networking event , ensuring it supports current campaign objectives.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including vendor negotiation, venue setup, A/V requirements, catering, and on-site management.
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and post-event reports, tracking key metrics for campaign success.
  • Work closely with appointed university faculty and DTVC senior management to tailor event experiences to meet strategic needs.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • BA/BS Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience, with a proven portfolio in graphic design AND demonstrable experience in campaign-driven event planning /management.

Competencies:

  • Creative and Detail-Oriented: Proven graphic design skills with a strong portfolio and an exceptional eye for detail in all design and event logistics.
  • Massive Communicator & Collaborator: Equipped with strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to manage both vendors and high-level stakeholders.
  • Project Management Skills: Excellent organization, planning, budgeting, and time management skills to manage simultaneous design projects and events.
  • Proactive & Hands-On: A go-getter with an ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic Thinker with a results-driven mindset focused on campaign objectives.
  • Good business sense and an understanding of the academic and innovation landscape.

Language Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written Arabic and English communication skills are essential.

Computer Skills:

  • Expert proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or other similar programs
