We are looking for a highly experienced Director of Facilities Engineering Services to lead and oversee the development, maintenance, and performance of major assets and projects. This role is responsible for ensuring all engineering and facilities operations are delivered to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency while maintaining alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.


The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in engineering strategy, project lifecycle management, and asset optimization , with a proven ability to manage complex, multi-site operations. You will lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborate closely with senior management and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of projects from design to handover.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement an engineering and facilities management strategy aligned with organizational goals and international best practices.
  • Lead all phases of project management — from concept and design through tendering, construction, and maintenance — ensuring delivery within approved timelines, budgets, and scope.
  • Build, mentor, and manage high-performing teams of engineers and technical professionals to achieve operational excellence.
  • Oversee project budgets, financial performance, and cash flow management to ensure efficient resource utilization.
  • Review and approve project proposals, contracts, and tender recommendations, ensuring compliance with technical and legal requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring smooth coordination between consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement, sustainability, and innovation in engineering practices and asset management systems.
  • Prepare and present progress reports, KPIs, and performance dashboards for senior leadership.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture; professional certifications such as PMP or CFM are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities, asset, or engineering management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale developments, complex projects, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong knowledge of project management frameworks, quality assurance, and contract administration.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills with a strategic and hands-on approach.
