We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Finance to lead our financial planning, analysis, and management. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our growth initiatives, ensuring economic stability, and providing actionable insights to drive business decisions.
Duties
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring long-term fiscal health.
- Oversee all aspects of financial reporting, including the preparation of accurate financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and regulatory reports in compliance with GAAP.
- Manage corporate accounting functions such as general ledger accounting, cost accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and cash flow analysis to maintain precise financial records.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis for profit & loss statements, budget forecasts, and cost control initiatives to inform strategic decision-making.
- Supervise cash flow forecasting and risk management strategies to minimize financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with governmental regulations and industry standards through regulatory reporting and compliance management practices.
- Lead risk analysis efforts by identifying potential financial vulnerabilities and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business development initiatives, providing insights into financial concepts that support growth opportunities.
- Oversee internal controls related to revenue recognition, cost management, account reconciliation processes, and general ledger integrity.
- Drive continuous improvement in financial software systems and tools to enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Provide leadership in strategic planning sessions by offering expert guidance on fiscal management, budgeting processes, and forecasting models.
- Foster a high-performance finance team through mentorship, training in accounting standards, and promoting a culture of accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
- Extensive experience in corporate finance or public accounting roles with proven leadership capabilities.
- Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, risk management, and strategic planning.
- Advanced Excel skills are essential.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret complex financial reports and communicate insights effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and compliance management across multiple jurisdictions.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building high-performing teams committed to accuracy and integrity in financial management.
- Strong analytical mindset combined with meticulous attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
