Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Housekeeping to join our luxury resort in the beautiful coastal city of Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. As the leader of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction while managing a large team of housekeeping professionals.

Oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department, including daily operations, staffing, and budget management

Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the guest experience and maintain the property's luxurious standards

Lead, motivate, and mentor a large team of housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistent, high-quality service throughout the property

Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences and resolve any issues promptly

Manage inventory, supplies, and equipment, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality

Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative housekeeping practices and technologies

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Handle guest complaints and special requests with professionalism and efficiency

Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all housekeeping functions
Qualifications-
Proven experience as a Director of Housekeeping or similar senior role in a luxury hotel or resort setting

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a large staff

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, effective decisions

Proficiency in housekeeping management software and MS Office Suite

In-depth knowledge of luxury hospitality standards, practices, and trends

Strong financial acumen, including experience in budgeting and cost control

Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred

Certification in Executive Housekeeping or similar professional qualification is advantageous

Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed
