    The primary purpose of your position is to coordinate all aspects of the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department of the care center and to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal rules and regulations regarding labor and human resources.

    The Human Resources Director is responsible for managing people-related concerns from recruiting, fostering a safe work environment, training, hiring, firing, administering compensation/payroll and benefits, analyzing performance and managing employees and the orientation process, handling disciplinary needs, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, supporting employee development, developing talent acquisition strategies, and managing DEIB efforts.

    You will provide essential support to the organization's operational structure, facilitating and fostering productive employer-employee relationships. The Human Resources Director plays a key role in maintaining legal compliance and advocating diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.

    Education & Experience: Two-year vocational training in the Business/Administration/Human Resource field. Human Resource Certificate or at least two years’ experience in Human Resource Administration. Healthcare Human Resource experience preferred. Three years’ experience in a business/clerical/office setting.

    Must have a working knowledge of computer systems, system applications and office equipment (i.e. Timekeeping/HR/Payroll, Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher), copy/fax machine, personal computer. Knowledge of and experience with related employment law (i.e. COBRA/MN Continuation, FMLA, ADA) required.
