Director of Human Resources

  • Design and implement initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to staff and leadership on employee relations matters.
  • Training & Development
  • Build career pathways, leadership development programs, and training initiatives.
  • Provide coaching to managers on performance management and leadership effectiveness.
  • Oversee staff evaluations, ensuring consistent and constructive feedback.
  • Performance & Workforce Management
  • Partner with department heads to set performance expectations and organizational goals.
  • Implement HR best practices to support growth, scalability, and operational excellence.
  • Monitor and analyze workforce data to inform decision-making.
  • UKG System Oversight
  • Manage and optimize HR workflows, reporting, and data integrity within the UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) platform.
  • Leverage UKG for payroll coordination, workforce analytics, and HR reporting.
  • Train managers and staff on effective use of UKG tools and functions.
  • Collaboration with External HR Partner
  • Coordinate with third-party provider on benefits administration, compliance, and regulatory matters.
  • Ensure smooth communication and alignment between internal HR and external HR services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership in a multi-site healthcare or service-based organization.
  • Strong background in employee engagement, retention, and performance management.
  • Must be proficient in UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) HRIS/payroll platform, including reporting and workflow management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build trust, influence decision-making, and drive organizational change.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and analytics.
  • PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
