Position: Director of Human Resources

Location: Spring Lake, Michigan

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:

As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a crucial role in overseeing all HR functions for our dental group. Your responsibilities will include:

Talent Acquisition:

· Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top-tier dental professionals.

· Manage the entire hiring process, from posting job openings to conducting interviews and making job offers.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding:

· Ensure a seamless onboarding process for new employees, including orientation and training.

· Handle employee terminations and exit processes in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Payroll and Benefits Administration:

· Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

· Manage employee benefits programs and assist employees with inquiries related to benefits.

· Experience with Paychex Flex preferred

Performance Management:

· Implement and oversee employee performance evaluation processes.

· Collaborate with department managers to address performance issues and provide coaching when necessary.

HR Policies and Compliance:

· Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

· Stay up-to-date on labor laws and ensure company compliance.

Employee Relations:

· Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

· Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a fair and effective manner.

Training and Development:

· Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs for employees.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

· Proven experience in HR leadership roles, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry.

· Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR staff.

· Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.

· Paychex Flex experience preferred

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
