About The Role

The Director of HR will partner directly with senior leadership to design and implement the people strategy supporting growth through acquisitions and organic hiring. This leader will oversee all HR functions — including recruiting, employee engagement, total rewards, compliance, and integration of newly acquired teams — while establishing scalable systems and processes from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all HR operations across a growing, multi-location organization
  • Build recruiting infrastructure to support large-scale hiring (sales and operations roles)
  • Develop and implement people policies, culture initiatives, and performance frameworks
  • Guide leadership on org design, employee engagement, and workforce planning
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and compliance programs
  • Support post-acquisition onboarding and cultural integration

Ideal Background

  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Proven ability to build HR infrastructure in fast-growth or multi-location settings
  • Experience supporting recruiting and retention, especially with insurance sales professionals
  • Strong understanding of employment law, compliance, and total rewards
  • Excellent communication, influence, and change-management skills
  • Based in Florida (Miami / Fort Lauderdale / Boca preferred; St. Pete, Jacksonville, or Avon Park also considered)
