Purpose

The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading and executing the firm’s comprehensive marketing strategy to drive brand awareness and authority, client acquisition, and market growth. This role includes managing a multimillion-dollar budget, overseeing vendors and internal teams, refining brand messaging, and ensuring high-performance campaigns across digital, traditional, and community channels. Central to this role is amplifying the firm’s visibility and reputation so it becomes the first name potential clients think of when seeking representation. The Director of Marketing serves as both a strategic leader and a hands-on operator, accountable for positioning the firm as a dominant force in the personal injury market.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Leadership

  • Build, execute, and optimize an omnichannel marketing strategy across digital, traditional, and grassroots platforms.
  • Oversee a $1M+ annual marketing budget, ensuring strong ROI and vendor accountability.
  • Lead the development of brand assets, messaging guides, and creative playbooks to unify the firm’s identity.
  • Direct and manage agency partners, freelancers, and in-house marketing staff.

Campaign Execution

  • Manage performance marketing campaigns across paid search, social media, SEO, video, radio, TV, and out-of-home advertising.
  • Develop persona-based marketing initiatives for segmented audiences (e.g., truck accident victims, Spanish-speaking markets).
  • Launch and manage community campaigns, sponsorships, and regional brand-building efforts.
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline content creation, data analysis, and marketing efficiencies.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Build and maintain reporting dashboards with key marketing KPIs.
  • Conduct attribution modeling, performance tracking, and budget optimization.
  • Translate complex data into clear insights for firm leadership.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7+ years of professional marketing experience, specifically in the personal injury law space.
  • Proven experience managing a $1M+ annual marketing budget.
  • Demonstrated leadership of a marketing team, including hiring and performance management.
  • Direct, hands-on experience with campaign strategy, creative development, and multi-channel performance tracking.
  • Strong proficiency in analytics platforms (GA4, CRM dashboards, attribution modeling, ad platform reporting).
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in presenting data-driven insights to non-marketing stakeholders.
  • No conflicting obligations (e.g., freelance clients, consulting, or side businesses).

Preferred

  • Marketing leadership experience in personal injury or competitive B2C professional services (legal, healthcare, financial, medspa, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, CallRail, Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4, WordPress, and OTT platforms.
  • Traditional media buying experience (broadcast, outdoor, radio).
  • Proven use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Studio, etc.) for marketing efficiency and content generation.
  • Background in community-based marketing and regional brand development.
  • Past leadership in an in-house marketing “mini-agency” structure or high-performance agency environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
