Ready to lead it all—and make it yours?
We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on marketing leader to step into a one-person internal marketing role where you’ll own everything from big-picture strategy to the day-to-day execution. If you thrive when you can see your ideas come to life and you love wearing many hats—this is the role for you!

What you’ll do:

  • Own our website strategy: content architecture, UX, vendor and agency management—and ensure it drives leads & conversions.
  • Develop and execute an SEO game-plan (on-page, off-page, technical) to boost organic traffic and visibility.
  • Lead content development of thought-leadership assets: white-papers, case studies, research looks—using internal and external resources.
  • Set and manage social media strategy: platforms, cadence, content themes—and monitor engagement and refine tactics.
  • Create and maintain compelling marketing collateral: brochures, one-pagers, slide decks, datasheets, infographics—ensuring brand consistency.
  • Build and maintain proposal templates (RFPs, client pitches) aligned with brand, value proposition, and best practice.
  • Own conferences/trade shows: selecting events, managing logistics (booth, signage, giveaways), coordinating pre-show outreach, on-site presence, and post-show lead follow-up.
  • Select and manage vendors/partners (web dev, SEO, design, copywriting, event production), negotiate contracts, monitor deliverables, align budget & quality.
  • Define and present marketing KPIs: website analytics, SEO rankings, social engagement, campaign ROI, event leads—and use data to drive strategy.
  • Be brand guardian: voice, identity, messaging pillars—ensure all marketing and external comms align.
  • Manage the marketing budget (modest but meaningful), prioritize activities for business impact and resource efficiency.
  • Other duties as assigned: as the solo marketing pro, you may get involved in related areas like email marketing, partner marketing, PR, internal comms.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of progressive marketing experience with demonstrable success in website management, digital marketing/SEO, content creation, social media, and event/trade show execution.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute marketing end-to-end in a lean environment (solo or very small team).
  • Strong vendor/agency management skills: set scopes, track milestones, deliver results.
  • Excellent project-management skills: self-starter, able to juggle multiple priorities and deliver with limited resources.
  • Strong written & verbal communication skills: able to craft compelling messaging, presentations and content.
  • Analytical mindset: comfortable with marketing analytics (Google Analytics, SEO tools, social metrics) and using data to drive decisions.
  • Hands-on: you’ll be doing the work—not just directing it.
  • Solid understanding of digital marketing best practices, website technologies, SEO fundamentals, social and content marketing trends.

Preferred:

  • B2B marketing experience (especially if our company is B2B) or within a similar industry.
  • Event/trade show planning, logistics and lead-gen follow-up experience.
  • Familiarity with proposal development and sales-enablement templates.
  • Startup or small-to-mid-size business environment where one person “wears many hats.”
  • Master’s degree or relevant marketing certifications.

Here’s how we’ll know you’re thriving (within your first 12 months):

  • Website refresh and measurable improvements in traffic, bounce rate, conversion.
  • SEO ranking progress for key terms and increased organic traffic.
  • Launch of new content assets (studies/whitepapers) that support lead generation.
  • Social media calendar in place and measurable growth in engagement/followers/leads.
  • Updated collateral and proposal templates actively used by sales/business-development.
  • Successful execution of at least one major conference/trade show—with pre-show outreach, on-site presence and measurable lead-follow-up.
  • Strong vendor/agency relationships, transparent budget management, regular reporting to leadership.

Why you’ll want to join us:
If you’re looking to step into a role where you see the impact of your work daily, where you’re the marketing engine driving growth and brand, and where your drive, talent and creativity will shape the company’s voice—this is it. You’ll have the autonomy to lead and the support to succeed. Let’s make big things happen—together.
