 As
 
  Director of Marketing
 
 you will be responsible for leading all marketing and communications efforts that enhance the hotel’s reputation awareness and profitability.
 
  Duties And Responsibilities
  
- 
   Oversee all Marketing and Communications functions including Marketing Planning Collateral and Advertising Production Content Management Public Relations Promotions Events and Social Media according to IHG standards and procedures.
  
- 
   Develop and execute an annual Marketing Plan covering hotel events media relations loyalty and channel marketing.
  
- 
   Align all marketing activities with the hotel’s key business segments to ensure a clear return on investment.
  
- 
   Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners influencers and key stakeholders.
  
- 
   Develop hotel stories and press releases to strengthen the hotel’s visibility and brand reputation in local and regional markets.
  
- 
   Plan and manage hotel events and activations including budgeting guest lists media coordination photography and branded materials.
  
- 
   Ensure all marketing collaterals and digital content meet InterContinental brand standards.
  
- 
   Manage the IHG Hotel Content Manager system to ensure all text and visuals reflect brand identity and optimize performance.
  
- 
   Oversee hotel social media channels to support campaigns engage guests and build the client database.
  
- 
   Lead the development and implementation of branding initiatives for new product or service launches in collaboration with Field Marketing Services Sales Operations and agencies.
  
- 
   Manage the annual advertising plan across traditional and digital platforms ensuring creative and media efficiency.
  
- 
   Monitor competitor activities and market trends across KSA GCC and key feeder markets.
  
- 
   Conduct weekly marketing meetings to review performance and progress.
  
- 
   Lead motivate and develop the marketing team including the digital marketing manager marketing executive and graphic designer.
   
 
 
Financial Responsibilities
- 
   Prepare and manage the department’s marketing budget as part of business planning.
  
- 
   Assist the Commercial Director in preparing all marketing sections of the Sales & Marketing annual budget.
  
- 
   Monitor revenue targets and control marketing costs to ensure performance against budget.
  
- 
   Support the Commercial Director in preparing short and long-term strategic plans for all marketing priorities.
   
 
 
Human Resource Responsibilities
- 
   Work closely with the Commercial Director and Director of Human Resources to optimize team resources.
  
- 
   Assist in recruiting new colleagues according to company standards.
  
- 
   Prepare detailed induction programs for new staff.
  
- 
   Implement departmental standards and procedures.
  
- 
   Communicate regularly with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
   
 
 
Qualifications And Requirements
- 
   Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Mass Communications Media or a related field.
  
- 
   Minimum of five years of relevant work experience in luxury hotels.
  
- 
   Excellent communication presentation and leadership skills.
  
- 
   Strong command of both Arabic and English.
  
- 
   Proven ability to manage multiple projects and budgets.
  
- 
   Financially literate with the ability to manage monthly P&L.
  
- 
   Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  
- 
   Experience working with external vendors and agencies.
