We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to lead multiple outpatient surgical centers in NYC-Long Island. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization, where you will be integral in shaping the future of our healthcare services. As a Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our healthcare facilities, ensuring that we deliver the highest quality of care to our patients. This role requires a strong leader with a strategic mindset, who is capable of driving operational excellence while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facilities, ensuring that we are delivering the highest quality of care to our patients.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with other senior leaders to set organizational goals and drive the overall direction of our healthcare services.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement necessary changes to improve operational performance.
• Manage and mentor a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Oversee the implementation and use of the EPIC healthcare software system, ensuring that it is being used effectively to manage patient care.
• Identify opportunities for growth and expansion, and lead initiatives to capitalize on these opportunities.
• Work closely with the financial team to manage budgets and ensure financial sustainability.
• Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurers, and regulatory bodies.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the healthcare sector.
• Proven experience in managing the operations of a healthcare facility.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards.
• Experience with the EPIC healthcare software system is a must.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and financial forecasting.
