Director of Procurement

Fives DyAG Corp is seeking a seasoned Director of Procurement in the Fontana, CA area to lead and manage strategic sourcing and procurement operations across multiple manufacturing sites.

This role is responsible for overseeing material spend, supplier relationships, and sourcing strategies for raw materials, machined components, outside processing, MRO supplies, lubricants, and energy. The Director will play a key role in driving cost efficiency, supply reliability, and operational excellence across a global footprint.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide procurement leadership across multiple domestic and international sites
• Align procurement strategy with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Lead a matrixed team of plant buyers and category managers
• Negotiate and establish multi-year agreements across direct and indirect spend categories
• Manage diverse commodities including metals, machined components, and industrial supplies
• Set and achieve targets for cost reduction, cash flow improvement, and supply performance
• Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive intelligence and strategic planning
• Support site-level procurement teams and collaborate with plant leadership on supply goals
• Optimize inventory through VMI programs, consignment, and supplier consolidation
• Implement supplier KPIs focused on delivery, quality, and inventory performance
• Partner with Finance and Sales to develop annual procurement budgets and forecasts
• Ensure supplier contracts align with commercial agreements and business objectives
• Conduct regular supplier scorecard reviews and performance evaluations
• Present procurement performance and strategic initiatives to senior leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 8 years of procurement experience, including 4 years in a senior leadership (Director level) role
• Willingness to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally

Pay: $160,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
