Director of Procurement

NEP Group is the global leader in live event and broadcast production solutions, powering some of the world’s most complex and high-profile productions. We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Director of Procurement to lead procurement across NEP Americas.

This is a high-impact leadership role driving capital efficiency, supplier strategy, risk mitigation, and operational excellence in support of production-critical environments.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies across broadcast equipment, engineering services, IT infrastructure, fleet/mobile units, and corporate services

• Partner with Engineering, Operations, Production, and Finance to forecast capital and operational requirements

• Lead major equipment negotiations and multi-year technology contracts with OEMs and key vendors

• Manage supplier performance, SLAs, warranties, and supply chain risk mitigation

• Support long-term capital planning, including make-vs-buy and rental vs. ownership decisions

• Deliver measurable cost savings and ROI on capital investments through disciplined spend reviews

• Analyze total cost of ownership (TCO) for broadcast systems and technology platforms

• Ensure timely procurement aligned to live event production schedules and high-profile events

• Standardize purchasing processes and improve cycle times across business units

• Collaborate with controllership and finance to manage milestone payments and budget alignment

What You Bring:

• 12+ years of progressive procurement experience, ideally within media, broadcast, or technology environments

• Deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and commercial negotiation

• Proven ability to lead major spend reviews and deliver measurable savings

• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders and driving organizational change

• Strong financial acumen, including TCO analysis and capital planning

• Ability to operate in high-pressure, deadline-driven live production environments

• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (SAP experience preferred)
