Director of Projects / Head of Project Delivery

Switzel International is seeking a Director of Projects / Head of Project Delivery to lead all project execution across the organization. This role will be the single point of contact for all clients on technical and delivery matters and will head all technical and BIM teams across Architecture, Structure, MEP, and Engineering disciplines.

Strong BIM experience and leadership are mandatory for this role, as projects are delivered through BIM-led workflows and digital collaboration environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the one point of contact for all clients on technical, BIM, coordination, and delivery matters.
• Lead and manage all technical and BIM teams across disciplines.
• Define BIM-driven project delivery strategies and execution plans.
• Establish project teams, roles, and resourcing aligned with BIM and project requirements.
• Oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of all projects.
• Control project schedules, budgets, risks, and quality across the full project portfolio.
• Ensure compliance with BIM execution plans, client BIM protocols, and contractual requirements.
• Resolve cross-discipline technical and BIM coordination issues.
• Standardize BIM, QA/QC, and project management processes across the company.
• Provide consolidated project, BIM, and risk status reports directly to the CEO.
• Serve as the focal point for all internal and external technical and BIM-related queries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture (Master’s preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in project delivery, with strong exposure to BIM-led projects.
• Proven experience leading multi-discipline technical and BIM teams.
• Demonstrated hands-on understanding of BIM workflows, coordination, and digital delivery.
• Strong project management expertise, including:
• PMP or equivalent certification (preferred)
• Primavera P6 for planning and scheduling
• Experience working within CDE environments and managing BIM standards and compliance.
• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to manage senior stakeholders.
• Experience delivering Middle East projects is a strong advantage.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
