Klinger Companies, L.L.C. is a group of four construction companies headquartered in Sioux City, Iowa. Since 1919, we have built complex commercial and industrial projects across the country, with work in approximately fifteen states each year.

But the most important thing we build is a culture where every person goes home safe.

We are seeking a Director of Safety who wants to do more than enforce rules. This leader will partner with operations, influence field teams, and help strengthen one of the best safety cultures in the industry.

What You Will Do

• Regular travel to our jobsites
  
  • Lead the company’s safety strategy and vision
  • Build a proactive safety culture across projects nationwide
  • Engage directly with field teams and project leadership
  • Lead incident investigations and continuous improvement efforts
  • Introduce modern safety programs, training, and technology

What We Are Looking For

• Experience building a strong safety culture in construction or other high risk environments
  
  • Ability to influence field teams, project managers, and leadership
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety practices
  • Five or more years of safety leadership experience in construction or a related industry
  • Occupational Safety/Health degree, or equivalent combination of training and experience considered
  • CSP, CHST, or similar certifications are a plus
