About the Role
Efficient Power & Light (EPL) is seeking a high-caliber Director of Sales to join our Executive Leadership Team. We are not a typical electrical shop; we are a Technology & Energy Command Center on a mission to make energy efficiency accessible across the Southeast. You will be responsible for driving revenue in our Small/Large Business Lighting Division, Solar, Home Generator and General Electrical Contractor Service Sales.
This is a strategic executive position designed for a results-oriented leader who can translate technical knowledge into massive market growth. You won’t just be "managing a team"—you will be architecting the revenue engine of a Regional Powerhouse. You will build and lead a team of 1099 and W2 based sales professionals in multiple sates—specifically turning complex energy challenges into ROI-driven solutions and 5-star brand equity.
The "EPL Way" Responsibilities
● Executive Strategy & Action: Build & Develop agile sales plans that prioritize "what is right for the enterprise". You will convert market data into effective action, providing regular pipeline and lead velocity updates directly to the General Manager.
● Team Architecture (LMA): Lead, Manage, and hold your team accountable (LMA). You will design the sales staff structure, own the goal-setting process, to drive revenue.
● Market Authority: Scan the Southeast energy market for technological shifts in Small Business Lighting (LED retrofit), Solar, HVAC, and Electrical sectors. You will establish yourself and EPL as the recognized authority on specialized efficiency offerings.
● 5-Star Momentum: Own the standard for customer excellence. You will implement consistent methods to ensure every project completion—and even every "call-back"—is converted into a brand opportunity and a 5-star review.
● Synchronized Execution: Work closely with Marketing and Production leads to ensure the sales process is seamless, from lead qualification to final utility rebate documentation.
Qualifications
● Technical Executive Literacy: Ability to understand and communicate complex energy analytics, ROI models, and technical specifications (LED, Solar, to CFOs and facility managers.
● Proven Growth Track Record: Extensive experience in high-level B2B sales management, with a history of meeting or exceeding aggressive revenue quotas.
● Accountability: You thrive in a "War Room" environment where performance is measured by the Scorecard and numbers don't lie.
● Integrity: A commitment to safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure the job is done right the first time.
Compensation & Benefits
● Salary: $80,000+ base per year, plus a performance-based sales bonus structure.
