Director of Sales and Partnerships:
The Director of Sales and Partnerships is responsible for leading the overall commercial, strategic, and sales performance of DKC (all business units). This includes driving revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, and overseeing sales initiatives. The role focuses on B2B partnerships, client engagement, and market expansion while aligning with DKC’s mission, Vision, and company objectives and quality frameworks.
This role will report to the Chief Academic Officer.
Responsibilities:
1- Owns overall revenue performance across all business units, including sales pipeline development, forecasting accuracy, and achievement of agreed annual and quarterly revenue targets.
· Identify and maintain partnerships with corporate clients, government entities, and industry stakeholders.
· Develop and oversee client engagement and retention programs to support long-term institutional partnerships.
2- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals for all business units.
· Lead proposal development, bid submissions, and client presentations for B2B and institutional contracts.
· Oversee lead generation initiatives.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging industry needs to guide product development and positioning..
3- Serve as the primary point of contact for sales accounts.
4- Align sales with company objectives.
5- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and market analysis.
7- Manage budgets for sales activities effectively.
8- Leads and develops the Sales & Partnership function, including defining team structure, roles, and capability requirements in line with business growth.
10- Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities for staff.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferable.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably in education or related sectors.
- Professional certification in Sales, Business Development/Leadership is an advantage.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, strategic planning, and client relationship management.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue targets and expanding institutional client portfolios.
- Strong understanding of CRM systems, and data-driven decision-making.
- Experience managing multicultural teams and working with both government and private-sector stakeholders.
