Job Title **Senior Sales Account Manager
Role Purpose responsible for managing the complete sales cycle of IT infrastructure solutions with a focus on backup, disaster recovery, and data center technologies. This includes identifying customer needs, proposing appropriate technical solutions, maintaining strong client relationships, and meeting sales targets. The role bridges customer requirements with internal technical capabilities, ensuring smooth collaboration and high customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities **Deliverables/outcomes
Strategic Sales Planning **
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for key clients.
- Identify long-term opportunities and create strategies for sustainable growth.
- Participate in annual and quarterly business reviews with major accounts.
Account Management
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts to ensure long-term success.
- Develop strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Act as the main contact point for account needs and inquiries.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify new business opportunities within current accounts and new prospects.
- Present solutions tailored to client needs in collaboration with presales.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotations, and negotiations.
Target Achievement & Forecasting
- Meet and exceed assigned sales targets (monthly, quarterly, annually).
- Provide regular sales forecasts and reporting to the Sales Director.
- Maintain accurate and updated CRM data.
Client Satisfaction
- Ensure customer satisfaction by managing expectations and resolving issues.
- Follow up post-sale to ensure solution delivery and identify upsell opportunities.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with technical, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Participate in bid preparation, pricing strategies, and presentations.
Personal specification
Essential skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of experience in sales account management within IT or technology services, preferably with a focus on enterprise clients or large-scale infrastructure solutions.
- Solid understanding of the backup and data center solutions being offered, including technical concepts and client value.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- CRM experience and ability to analyze data and sales metrics.
- Proficiency in English is a must.
- Valid residency for KSA (for non-Saudis).
