Objective / Purpose

The Planning Manager supports the Planning Director in consolidating schedule-related reporting across Business Units and the Central Delivery Unit (CDU). The role ensures consistency of planning KPIs, assists in preparing executive-level reporting, and coordinates with data analysts to enhance visibility of delivery performance.


Technical Responsibilities

  • Support the Planning Director in consolidating planning data and reports across Business Units.
  • Liaise with Business Units and CDU teams to ensure consistency of schedule-related submissions.
  • Assist in preparing integrated dashboards and KPIs for executive-level reporting.
  • Coordinate with Data Analysts to enhance accuracy and efficiency in planning-related reporting.
  • Review and validate EOT claims data before consolidation.
  • Ensure timely and standardized submission of planning reports from Business Units.
  • Track progress of major milestones and highlight deviations.
  • Provide support in preparing presentations for management committees.
  • Promote best practices in planning and scheduling across the delivery organization.
  • Mentor junior planners or analysts within the SDU.

Requirements

  • Degree: Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • Experience: 10–15 years in planning and scheduling, preferably within mega/giga projects in GCC.
  • Licenses / Certifications: PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent desirable.
  • Skills: Strong Primavera P6 and reporting tool expertise; ability to consolidate and present planning insights; strong coordination and stakeholder engagement.
