We’re hiring for a full-time Director to join our Day Treatment Program.


What You’ll Be Doing


The Director of the Day Treatment Program provides clinical, operational, and administrative leadership for a new intensive day treatment program serving individuals with behavioral health and/or co-occurring needs. This licensed clinician ensures high-quality, trauma-informed, evidence-based care, oversees compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and leads a multidisciplinary team in delivering integrated services. The Director plays a key role in program development, financial performance, community partnerships, and outcome achievement.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Director under the supervision of the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services you will:

Program Leadership & Development

  • Lead the design, launch, and ongoing management of the new Day Treatment program.
  • Establish clinical protocols, treatment models, and program workflows consistent with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure program meets standards for CARF, Joint Commission, Medicaid/Medicare, and state licensing bodies.
  • Develop and monitor program goals, productivity standards, and outcome measures.

Clinical Oversight

  • Provide direct clinical services as needed, including assessments, individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Supervise and mentor clinical staff, ensuring quality of care and adherence to treatment models.
  • Lead case consultations, treatment planning meetings, and utilization reviews.
  • Ensure documentation is timely, accurate, and compliant with payer and regulatory requirements.

Operations & Administration

  • Oversee program scheduling, staffing, and daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, and support financial sustainability.
  • Collaborate with admissions/intake to support smooth referral processes and optimal census.
  • Maintain program compliance with HIPAA and all organizational policies.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with hospitals, schools, probation, FQHCs, and other referral sources.
  • Represent the program at community meetings, advisory groups, and stakeholder forums.
  • Participate in marketing, outreach, and education to grow referrals and promote program visibility.

  • Competitive pay $89,557.28 to 98,949.05 Annually (Dependent on experience, certification and shift)

What we’re looking For—The Must-Haves

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field required.
  • Active Colorado license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health or co-occurring treatment.
  • At least 2 years of leadership/management experience in a treatment, partial hospitalization, day treatment, or residential setting.
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and integrated treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.




What we’d Like to See in you—the Nice-to-Haves

  • Supervision credential (ability to provide licensure supervision).
  • Experience with Medicaid/insurance billing, compliance, and program budget management.
  • Spanish speaking ability.
