We’re hiring for a full-time Director to join our Day Treatment Program.
What You’ll Be Doing
The Director of the Day Treatment Program provides clinical, operational, and administrative leadership for a new intensive day treatment program serving individuals with behavioral health and/or co-occurring needs. This licensed clinician ensures high-quality, trauma-informed, evidence-based care, oversees compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, and leads a multidisciplinary team in delivering integrated services. The Director plays a key role in program development, financial performance, community partnerships, and outcome achievement.
RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Director under the supervision of the Senior Vice President of Clinical Services you will:
Program Leadership & Development
- Lead the design, launch, and ongoing management of the new Day Treatment program.

Establish clinical protocols, treatment models, and program workflows consistent with best practices and regulatory requirements.

Ensure program meets standards for CARF, Joint Commission, Medicaid/Medicare, and state licensing bodies.

Develop and monitor program goals, productivity standards, and outcome measures.
Clinical Oversight

Provide direct clinical services as needed, including assessments, individual, family, and group therapy.

Supervise and mentor clinical staff, ensuring quality of care and adherence to treatment models.

Lead case consultations, treatment planning meetings, and utilization reviews.

Ensure documentation is timely, accurate, and compliant with payer and regulatory requirements.
Operations & Administration

Oversee program scheduling, staffing, and daily operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.

Develop and manage program budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, and support financial sustainability.

Collaborate with admissions/intake to support smooth referral processes and optimal census.

Maintain program compliance with HIPAA and all organizational policies.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement

Build and maintain collaborative relationships with hospitals, schools, probation, FQHCs, and other referral sources.

Represent the program at community meetings, advisory groups, and stakeholder forums.

Participate in marketing, outreach, and education to grow referrals and promote program visibility.

What we’re looking For—The Must-Haves
-
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field required.
-
Active Colorado license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent).
-
Minimum 5 years post-licensure clinical experience in behavioral health or co-occurring treatment.
-
At least 2 years of leadership/management experience in a treatment, partial hospitalization, day treatment, or residential setting.

Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care, evidence-based practices, and integrated treatment for mental health and substance use disorders.
What we’d Like to See in you—the Nice-to-Haves

Supervision credential (ability to provide licensure supervision).

Experience with Medicaid/insurance billing, compliance, and program budget management.
