Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Director of Security Operations to lead our security strategy and operations across our pioneering entertainment and cultural destination. As the Director of Security Operations, you will be responsible for establishing and implementing a comprehensive security framework that guarantees the safety of our guests, employees, and assets while promoting a culture of security excellence.
This senior leadership position requires expertise in security management, strategic planning, and crisis response. You will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure that our security measures align with the company’s mission, regulatory requirements, and best practices in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:1. Lead Day-to-Day On-Ground Security Operations:
Direct and oversee daily security activities covering all security matters related to visitors.
Supervise security teams and vendors, ensuring deployment aligns with approved plans.
Monitor operational performance, respond to incidents, and lead escalation procedures when required.
Drive a proactive security culture focused on prevention, vigilance, and rapid response.
2. Develop Security Plans, Processes, and SOPs:
Design, implement, and continuously improve security plans, operational procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Establish structured workflows that enable efficient and consistent operations.
Align procedures with recognized industry practices and regulatory requirements.
Conduct periodic reviews to ensure documentation reflects evolving risks and operational realities.
3. Advise on Security Requirements for New and Emerging Assets
Act as the primary security advisor during the activation of new assets, facilities, and public spaces.
Define security requirements covering manpower, technology, access control, surveillance, and emergency readiness.
Ensure security integration supports a unified city-wide strategy rather than fragmented asset-level approaches.
Promote standardization to maintain coherent protection levels across all operational environments.
4. Maintain Critical Documentation and Train Stakeholders
Own the lifecycle of key security documents such as emergency plans, incident response frameworks, and operational manuals.
Ensure documents remain up-to-date, actionable, and aligned with regulatory expectations.
Deliver training and awareness sessions to relevant stakeholders to ensure clarity of roles and responsibilities.
Facilitate exercises and drills to validate preparedness and strengthen cross-functional coordination.
5. Procure Security Equipment and Operational Resources
Identify operational needs and lead the procurement of security equipment, systems, and tools.
Support vendor evaluation, technical specifications, and selection processes.
Ensure equipment meets operational requirements, compliance standards, and scalability needs.
Oversee deployment and operational readiness of procured resources.
