Job Overview
The Director of Strategic Capital Transactions in Oman leads the identification, structuring, and execution of high-impact financings, M&A, and alliance deals aligned with national priorities like Oman Vision 2040.
Key Responsibilities
- Originate strategic opportunities through market analysis, stakeholder networks, and intelligence on sectors like energy, infrastructure, and diversification projects exceeding OMR 50M.
- Develop sophisticated financial models (NPV, IRR, DCF) for valuations, scenario planning, and investment memos; oversee due diligence and risk assessments.
- Negotiate term sheets, lead cross-functional teams (legal, treasury, operations), and manage deal execution from LOI to close, ensuring CMA compliance and Sharia compatibility.
- Advise executive leadership on capital allocation, post-deal integration, and value realization; track portfolio performance and prepare board-level reporting.
- Build relationships with Oman Investment Authority, banks, and international investors to drive proprietary deal flow.
Required Qualifications
- MBA/CFA preferred, with Bachelor's in Finance/Economics; 10-15 years in investment banking, PE, sovereign funds, or strategy consulting.
- Proven track record in OMR 100M+ GCC transactions; Arabic/English fluency, advanced Excel skills, and deep knowledge of Omani regulations.
- Strategic mindset with strong negotiation, leadership, and presentation abilities.
Compensation Range
- OMR 2,000-3,500 monthly base (OMR 12.50-21.88/hour at 160 hours/month), plus bonuses linked to deal volume and success.
Pay: RO12.500 - RO21.880 per hour
