Dispatch Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Service Coordinator is primarily responsible for dispatching inspections and service for our customer base. This role supports our field technicians, ensuring that daily tasks and workloads are completed efficiently. The Service Coordinator directly interacts with customers, delivering high-quality, and professional service in response to their needs.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Interact with customers to provide the best quality service.

2. Dispatch field technicians for extinguisher and hood & duct services and inspections.

3. Coordinate with the customer and/or building to properly notify all parties of scheduled service.

4. Troubleshoot field technician questions and issues in Inspection Software Management Systems.

5. Provide customers with information on requested parts or additional services.

6. Produce monthly reports as requested.

7. Notify the Office Manager of pending issues and duties that cannot be performed, prior to absence.

8. Perform related duties as assigned.

9. Maintain regular and consistent attendance.

Job Qualifications:

Required:

· High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.

· 2–3 years of customer service experience.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface effectively with customers and service personnel.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and standard office/accounting practices.

· Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Preferred:

· A background in fire protection is a plus.

· Associates degree in business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Knowledge of Sage Software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
