. Order Processing & Dispatch Planning
- Receive and review dispatch orders from the sales or production department.
- Plan daily dispatch schedules according to delivery timelines and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with the warehouse, packing, and logistics teams for timely order fulfillment.
2. Inventory & Stock Management
- Check product availability before dispatch and ensure correct stock movement.
- Maintain proper records of inward and outward materials.
- Coordinate with the store department for stock updates and reconciliations.
3. Packaging & Quality Verification
- Ensure that products are properly packed, labeled, and meet quality standards before dispatch.
- Verify the quantity, fabric type, color, and design as per order specifications.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to the concerned department immediately.
4. Logistics Coordination
- Arrange transportation and track shipment status until delivery.
- Coordinate with transporters and courier companies to ensure timely delivery.
- Prepare and hand over dispatch documents to the drivers or logistics team.
5. Documentation & Record Keeping
- Prepare invoices, delivery challans, gate passes, and other dispatch-related documents.
- Maintain daily dispatch reports and share with management.
- Keep accurate records for audit and inventory control purposes.
6. Communication & Coordination
- Communicate with the sales, production, and accounts departments regarding dispatch schedules.
- Provide dispatch and delivery updates to customers when required.
- Handle any transport-related issues or delays efficiently.
7. Compliance & Safety
- Ensure dispatch activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized dispatch area.
- Follow safety protocols during loading and unloading operations.
