Dispatch Executive

We are seeking a sharp, reliable, and experienced Truck Dispatcher to manage our fleet and coordinate daily logistics operations. In this role, you will act as the bridge between our drivers, brokers, and customers. You must be aggressive in negotiating rates, meticulous with paperwork (BOLs/PODs), and capable of solving problems in real-time.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Dispatching

• Plan and dispatch loads for drivers, ensuring routes are optimized for profitability and legal driving hours (HOS).

• Maintain constant communication with drivers to track location, arrival times, and delivery status.

• Handle emergency situations, including breakdowns, weather delays, or detention at shippers/receivers.

2. Broker Coordination & Negotiation

• Search for loads using load boards (DAT, Truckstop) and direct broker contacts.

• Negotiate top rates with freight brokers to maximize revenue per mile.

• Verify broker creditworthiness and ensure rate confirmations are accurate before dispatching.

• Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with brokers to secure dedicated lanes.

3. Documentation & Compliance (Critical)

• Ensure all Bills of Lading (BOLs) are signed and clean upon pickup and delivery.

• Collect and submit Proof of Delivery (PODs) and Rate Confirmations immediately after delivery to ensure timely billing and factoring.

• Verify that all accessorial charges (lumpers, detention, layover) are documented and added to the final invoice.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in US Freight Dispatching (Dry Van, Reefer, or Flatbed).

• Language: Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be confident speaking with US brokers and drivers.

• Geography: Strong knowledge of US geography, states, major interstates, and time zones.

• Tech Savvy: Proficient with load boards (DAT Power, Truckstop), email (Outlook/Gmail), and basic TMS software.

• Hardware: Must have a reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and a noise-canceling headset.
