Key Responsibilities:1. Machine Dispatch:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate the dispatch of machines and equipment as per project or customer requirements.
- Ensure machines are inspected, documented, and ready for dispatch in compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Monitor the movement and return of machines to and from various locations.
2. Transport Coordination:
- Arrange and manage transport logistics for delivery and pickup of machines and goods.
- Liaise with transport vendors, drivers, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation.
- Optimize routing and scheduling to reduce downtime and transportation costs.
3. Team Handling:
- Lead, train, and manage the dispatch team including coordinators, drivers, and helpers.
- Allocate resources efficiently to meet dispatch targets and resolve any staffing issues.
- Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
4. Coordination:
- Coordinate with sales, service, warehouse, and operations teams for seamless dispatch execution.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatches, delivery notes, and logistics documentation.
- Use dispatch or ERP software for planning and tracking dispatch operations.
5. Customer Handling:
- Communicate with customers to confirm dispatch details, schedules, and any special requirements.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues related to dispatch, delivery, or machine readiness.
- Maintain a professional and responsive relationship with clients to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience (3–5 years) in dispatch/logistics management, preferably in machine or equipment dispatch.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Good knowledge of transport regulations and logistics best practices.
- Proficient in dispatch software, ERP systems, and MS Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
