Qualification: Graduate/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or relevant field

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatch Manager to oversee the complete despatch process for our galvanised steel products. The role will be responsible for stacking, bundling, and systematic arrangement of products project-wise, ensuring smooth loading and timely despatch to project sites. This is a key role requiring strong coordination with production, quality, and logistics teams to maintain dispatch efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise post-galvanization product stacking and ensure systematic shifting of material to the despatch yard.
• Oversee bundling and tagging project-wise, ensuring accurate identification and traceability.
• Prepare loading plans based on project priority and coordinate with the logistics team for vehicle scheduling.
• Monitor yard space utilization and optimize stacking layout to avoid congestion.
• Maintain daily dispatch MIS – material moved, loaded, pending dispatch, and vehicle status.
• Ensure proper documentation (challans, invoices, e-way bills) is prepared and verified before dispatch.
• Coordinate with the production and quality teams to resolve discrepancies in quantities or product quality.
• Monitor safety compliance during stacking, material handling, and vehicle loading.
• Lead a small team of yard workers/operators and ensure proper manpower deployment.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 7-10 years of experience in dispatch/logistics/yard operations within steel fabrication, galvanizing, and manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and dispatch planning.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Tally, or similar) for material movement tracking.
• Excellent coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously.
• Familiarity with safety protocols for yard and loading operations.

Preferred Background

• Candidates with prior exposure to transmission line projects or galvanizing plants will be given preference.
• Hands-on experience in managing dispatch yards, loading operations, and third-party transporters.
• Leadership skills to manage workers and drivers efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
