Dispatch Manager

What you will do::
- Coordinate daily deliveries by effectively scheduling drivers and helpers in the assigned areas
- Ensure adherence to and education of QXO’s safety policies for staff
- Deliver superior service to both internal and external customers
- Follow-up promptly with customers to ensure overall satisfaction
- Manage Material Transfers between regional branches
- Adhere to union contracts, OSHA, and DOT regulations consistently
- Keep an accurate delivery logbook, reviewed weekly
- Ensure availability of safe and reliable vehicles and forklifts for operations
- Serve as a liaison between the branch staff, the sales team and the customers during deliveries
- Ability to multitask effectively and manage time efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication, including customer relations
- Knowledge of OSHA and DOT requirements
- Familiarity with local areas for optimized deliveries
- Computer proficiency
- Dispatching background a must
- Preferred experience in the building products industry
