Assistant Manager – Supply Chain

we are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Supply Chain to oversee dispatch operations, inventory control, warehouse management, and shipping/receiving processes. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate inventory management, timely dispatch of finished goods, and efficient coordination between production, store, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities

Dispatch & Logistics

• Manage and supervise daily dispatch operations of finished goods.
• Ensure timely and accurate shipment of products according to dispatch schedules.
• Coordinate with production and store departments to plan dispatches.
• Maintain dispatch documentation including delivery challans, gate passes, and shipment records.
• Coordinate with transporters and logistics providers to ensure smooth deliveries.

Inventory Management

• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records of raw materials and finished goods.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and stock reconciliations.
• Ensure proper stock handling and storage to minimize losses or damage.

Warehouse Management

• Supervise warehouse operations including storage, material handling, and organization.
• Implement proper warehouse practices to improve efficiency and safety.
• Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and tracking of materials.

Shipping & Receiving

• Oversee receiving of incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase documents.
• Ensure proper documentation and inspection of received materials.
• Coordinate with procurement and store teams for smooth inward and outward material flow.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare dispatch, inventory, and warehouse reports for management review.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Control, and Store departments for operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in dispatch, warehouse, or supply chain operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management.
• Good organizational and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems is preferred.

Location Requirement
Candidate must be able to manage their own commute to Port Qasim, Karachi. Fuel allowance will be provided.
