Human Capital HR Solutions (HC) is seeking an Assistant Manager – Imports for a leading client in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing sector. Based in Karachi, this role involves managing end-to-end import operations, coordinating with international suppliers, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Industry: Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Qualification: MBA (Supply Chain Management) / Business Graduate

Experience: Minimum 5 years in import operations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle end-to-end import operations, including shipment planning and documentation
  • Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and clearing agents
  • Ensure compliance with import regulations and DRAP requirements
  • Manage LC documentation, invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents
  • Monitor shipment timelines and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
  • Liaise with Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance teams
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, duties, and import costs

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong understanding of customs clearance, international logistics, and import documentation
  • Excellent coordination, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Prior exposure to pharmaceutical / textile / medical device / manufacturing sectors preferred
  • Immediate availability is highly desirable

Working Conditions:

  • Fast-paced role with multi-stakeholder coordination
  • Ability to work independently with administrative support
