CO-Energy has an immediate opening for the Dispatch Operations Manager position working in our Boise Bulk Plant facility.

The is a full-time position with a standard work schedule of Monday - Friday early day shift starting around 6:00 am. Depending on customer needs overtime hours might occasionally be required either by additional daily hours or added weekend shifts.
The Dispatch Operations Manager works in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment focused on planning, scheduling and coordinating the daily activities of our Local Delivery and Transport Driver teams. This is a key position focused on the efficient and cost-effective delivery of products to our customers.

COMPENSATION

Base wage is between $75k & $85k - depending on experience and qualifications;

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Dispatch Operations Manager will be responsible to:

Coordinate, organize and execute the scheduling and routing of driver assignments;
- Plan and execute driver routing/delivery assignment changes as needed based on real-time updates;
- Act as the first point of contact for internal and external Dispatch department customers - respond to calls and emails in a timely manner;
- Manage vehicle preventative maintenance program, including routine inspections, in coordination with the Fleet & Equipment Manager;
- Monitor various inventory management systems to schedule deliveries;
- Coordinate with the Sales department to provide pricing and inventory data as requested;
- Assist department manager in monitoring supplier pricing to ensure profitability;
- Drive continuous improvement in applicable systems and processes;
- Other duties that may be assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Two (2) years of dispatching experience;
- Two years of vehicle maintenance program experience;
- Familiarity with the Boise, Treasure Valley and surrounding areas;
- Driving record: no more than one (1) moving violation or at-fault accident in the last three (3) years;
- Ability to effectively manage detail oriented tasks to achieve department/company goals and expectations in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and provide excellent service to internal and external customers;
- Ability to write, read and interpret routine reports and documents;
- Ability to read and understand documents related to sales orders, customer orders, inventory management, delivery routes, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, company policies and procedures;
- Ability to operate a standard computer (keyboard, mouse, printer) including dispatching, inventory management, e-mail, spreadsheet and word processing software;
- Possess basic math skills including all units of measurement in fractions and decimals;
- Possess excellent skills in the following areas: Customer Service, Problem Solving, Planning, Organizing, Quality Control, Dependability, Safety and Security
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-
One (1) or more years of dispatching experience in a fuel and/or hazardous materials transportation setting;
- One or more years of experience with managing preventative maintenance programs for tanker trucks or other heavy equipment;
- Experience as a CMV/CDL driver;
- Experience as a CMV/CDL driver with Hazmat/fuel industry experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work setting will be split between an office and warehouse environment.
Warehouse temperatures vary widely from cold to hot.
