Dispatch Supervisor

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Dispatch Supervisor to oversee the dispatch operations of our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of goods, while coordinating with production and transport teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth outbound logistics and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily dispatch operations from the manufacturing unit.
• Coordinate with production, inventory, and transport teams to ensure timely dispatches.
• Prepare and maintain dispatch schedules and shipment plans.
• Ensure accurate documentation for all outgoing goods (e.g., invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills).
• Monitor vehicle movements, track deliveries, and resolve issues or delays in real time.
• Manage a team of dispatch clerks, loaders, and drivers ensuring compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
• Optimize loading plans based on order priority and vehicle capacity.
• Liaise with transport vendors to ensure vehicle availability and cost efficiency.
• Ensure packaging and loading are done as per product and customer requirements.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory compliances related to dispatch and logistics.
• Address and resolve any customer complaints related to dispatch/delivery delays.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma.
• 3–5 years of experience in dispatch or logistics supervision, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of dispatch procedures, transportation laws, and inventory systems.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and team management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily based at the manufacturing facility.
• May require working extended hours, weekends, or holidays during high-demand periods.
• Involves coordination with transport yards, and administrative offices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Meerut, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Dispatching: 3 years (Preferred)
