Job Description:
- The Dispatch Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily dispatch operations, staff performance, scheduling, and communication systems to ensure efficient and effective support of hospital operations and emergency response.
- This role provides direct supervision of dispatch staff, ensures compliance with hospital policies, and supports emergency preparedness efforts.
- Oversee all dispatch and communication center operations
- Manage dispatch systems and applications (Omnigo, Avigilon, Everbridge, etc.)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- One Year Relevant Experience
- Valid Drivers License
- Must Obtain Everbridge Certifications within 90 days of hire.
- Must obtain Aegis Certification (De-escalation) within 6 months of
hire.
- Must obtain ICS 100 & 200 within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Requirements:
- Previous experience in Healthcare Security
- Previous experience in emergency communication dispatch
- Previous experience in Law Enforcement
- Previous experience in Emergency Management
- Experience with CCTV/Access Control Systems
- Experience with emergency response protocols/procedures
- Experience with alert and emergency notification systems
