Dispatcher

We are seeking a dependable and organized Dispatcher to coordinate the daily scheduling and routing of roll-off dumpster deliveries, swaps, and pickups. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong sense of urgency, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch roll-off drivers for deliveries, pickups, and swaps
• Maintain clear communication with drivers throughout the day
• Use dispatch software and GPS tracking systems to monitor routes and efficiency
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries, last-minute changes, or service requests
• Update and maintain accurate records of jobs, routes, and driver logs
• Coordinate with operations, sales, and customer service teams as needed
• Troubleshoot scheduling conflicts or service delays
• Ensure compliance with DOT and company safety regulations

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree a plus)
• 1+ years of experience in dispatching, logistics, or waste management preferred
• Strong geographical knowledge of the tri-state area
• Proficient with dispatching or routing software
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and driver hours of service a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
